Tuticorin Port, also known as V. O. Chidambaram Port, is one of the major Indian Sea Port & is strategically located on the southern tip of India, in the state of TamilNadu. In 2010 a ferry service started between Tuticorin & Colombo. It has a major Coal Handling terminal, which feeds close to 70 coal power electricity stations in the vicinity
